Socks replied: "Uggs are really cute, but pretty pricey. You can Emu's, which are just like Uggs, or any other kind of suede boots and they are usually cheaper. Ballet Flats are cute and comfortable, and are good because they don't have much of a heel, which makes them even MORE comfortable, and parents can't say no to them. Wedge heels usually are nice, they don't appear to have a REAL heel, so if you're the kind of person who loves high heels but who's parents don't, you can always slip by with the wedge. If your parents will let you wear whatever shoes you want then I think that pumps or sling backs are very cute, but be aware, your feet WILL hurt! As for sneakers, if you're into skate shoes then Etnies, DC's or anything of the like will do. Also, high-tops can be very chic, despite popular belief (especially if you get the knee-high ones, and wear them with a cute denim skirt or something.) If you like regular sneakers then Nikes are cute. Lastly, anything with a peep toe is totally cute, but your toes might be a little cold." Are Converse Shoes in style in Australia?
